Petrol Bags, a Vitec Group Brand, introduces the Black Deca Dr. Bag for the Sony PMW-EX3 and similar size cameras. A new design based on an industry favorite – the popular Dr. Petrol camera carrier – the Deca Dr. Bag sports a modern, practical design in striking black fabric and is packed with industry leading new features.
An ingenious lighting system illuminates the bag’s interior, making contents so much easier to identify and organize. The LED lights are replaceable and easily installed or removed via a convenient internal zipper. Power is supplied by standard AA batteries (not included). The floor of the bag is equipped with Petrol’s new shock-resistant, molded AbsorbaPad. Attached by hook and loop material, it provides delicate equipment with an extra level of protection against accidental damage from the jolts and jostles that can occur during transit. A proprietary pattern of ridges and raised dots on the surface of the Pad provide a steadfast grip to keep the camera steady and safe. Twin connecting brackets on the bottom of the bag allow for the quick and easy connection of Petrol Bag’s new Snaplock wheel and trolley system. On the exterior, a plastic exchangeable logo frame lets the user easily add their own logo for personal branding.
Inspired by the traditional doctor’s bag, the semi-rigid equipment bag is uniquely designed to hold a camera and accessories comfortably and securely and offer fast and easy access to its contents. Additional features include a hinged, extra wide opening for fast and easy access to the camera with mattebox and mic attached, detachable padded internal dividers for custom configuration, bottom panels of shockproof, cold-molded laminate for extra equipment protection, exterior side pockets for additional storage, U-Grip interlock carrying handle, adjustable, ergonomic padded shoulder strap, and Petrol’s dual directional easy-glide zippers. The Deca Dr. Bag is available in six models, tailored to fit from today’s compact DV camcorders to full-size broadcast cameras.
