When you think of the cinematography that has hit the screens in the
last decade (well, the last decade two years removed), what sticks out?
Perhaps the stunning achievements in Children of Men? The
chills of The Dark Knight? The beauty of The Assassination
of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford? The Fall? Or,
going back even further, Eyes Wide Shut or Sky Captain and
the World of Tomorrow?
What if I told you that they're all on a new list of achievements, but
that the top spot went to Bruno Delbonnel for the cute, foreign quirk
fest known as Amelie?
